This may be a little old (posted by nectarine on 5 Oct 06), but the animation is definitely meaningful and funny.

Time to create vector characters for my Flash developers!!! HEHEHE.

Welcome To Singapore

/ Thursday, May 24, 2007 /
Right now, nobody should be unfamiliar with the title above.

At least, not Singaporeans.

I am not a fan of Pirates of the Caribbean, but Chow Yun-Fat said Welcome to Singapore in its teaser trailer got everyone living in Singapore excited.

Q:
Did the Singapore film sets bear any resemblance to the actual Singapore of that era?

Chow Yun-Fat:
I believe in the 17th century and even today in the part of Singapore closest to the Malacca Straits we still see a lot of Indonesian fish farms and fishing villages where they live very close like that.

Couldn't remember when, but ever since this trailer first launched in cinemas, Pirates of Caribbean posters were put up in an elaborate manner everywhere.

Walked through the Dhoby Ghaut Interchange, I saw pillars welcoming me to Singapore.

Took a lift in Cineleisure, I saw Chow Yun-Fat in his pirate costume. Instinctively, I said out loud WELCOME TO SINGAPORE, only to find out that another girl in the lift said WELCOME TO SINGAPORE to her friends too and left the whole lift laughing at us.

Had dinner at Swensons, waiters and waitress can't wait to show me how much they welcome me to Singapore by dressing up like pirates.

Slowly slowly, I float up into the space to see whole Singapore island shouting at me WELCOME TO SINGAPOREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Hihi, are you looking at me or my reflection? Don't you think I'm beautiful?

Did I hear YEAH?
Thanks for that support. You've got great taste there you know.

I look in the mirror everyday to admire my scaly complexion and bulging big eyes, completed with a gentle smile on my jagged jaw.

Phew. Am I an angel or what.

Constant relaxation is needed to keep myself at the best condition.

And so I have my sauna everyday in the early morning.

Sauna never fails to make me sleep.

Keeping fit is another essential part of my daily life.

I owe my good bods to the treadmills.

I really have no idea how these treadmills work, but I have always managed to crawl-on-the-spot whenever I tried in vain to go under things like chairs, tables or even refrigerators.

That's all for now. Sorry for the short introduction of myself. I'm really busy as you have seen.

Gotta go!

BYE BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...

Still looking at my bums?
