heck
n : a euphemism for `hell'; "Oh what the heck"

I was taken aback by this bombastic slang, which is already recognised by dictionary.com as a noun.

The word is not bombastic by itself. It is the person whom I heard from of this word that matters. And should I justify myself, the person did not even say it. He merely typed it out in a mass email sent to all my classmates.

And the impact is,

A HECK LOT OF

THIS GREAT.

He is our lecturer, who used to cool and composed. He has never lost his cool even when he was teaching the heckiest Macromedia Director module.

Now that he has hecked us, we are really hecked!

He blamed us for not having the sense of urgency for treasuring the time now, which is supposedly to be the most relaxed, to do out our portfolio website.

Exi cue si me. We are not urgent?!

Ok lor. Heck the other projects and projects and projects and projects and projects and projects and projects and projects and projects and projects and projects and projects LOR. I am not seen to be urgent anyway.

Sigh, I appreciate your worry sir.

It is great to know from him that some of our ideas for Interaction Design are favorable for development. Though I do not know which groups' ideas are the interesting ones he was talking about in the latest email, I am going to show the video demo of my group's installation below.

We have to come out with concepts for integrating some interactive installations in Biopolis, the life science hub at Buona Vista. And so my group, Gareth, Tak Yee and I went down for the first time.

We stayed there for more than 4 hours, ate, drank, rested, visited the toilet there for a few times, thought of a lot of crappy ideas and still nothing serious enough came out.

We were at our wits' ends and so Gareth said let us just throw our shitty ideas out and see what we can do with them. I must say he has really lifted some pressure and really, I came out with a shitty idea which I think it is not that shitty after all. This idea is based upon the people working at Biopolis having to tap their cards to enter their offices.

Yes, if you are asking what has Sandy been doing and not updating her blog, I have been doing a few projects, and this is one of them.

My group further developed storyboard using my shitty idea. Gareth started playing with the web cameras and scriptings for interacting with the screen. And we went down to Biopolis to film the demo.

I am the producer, the main actress, the scriptor, the camerawoman together with Tak Yee, the editor, the lousy effects editor for this video demo. This is so much more than 自编自导自演 ok.

I have not even mentioned, I AM ALSO THE ONE WHO WENT AROUND BEGGING FOR VIDEO CAMERA LOR. How is that!

I hereby thank Jiahao for being so magnanimous for lending me his very nice SONY handycam, for helping me extract the raw video clip from the handycam, and for giving me one of his DVD-R to save the raw video clip. I also want to thank Jiahao's girlfriend for her help to figure out how to use the complicated DVD recorder.
